System Requirements
All Fireside Analytics coursework is completed using browser-based tools. No software installation is required, but students must have access to a computer and internet connection that meet the following minimum specifications prior to enrollment.
Internet Connection
A stable broadband connection (wired, WiFi, or 4G/5G) is required. Mobile hotspots may be used but are not recommended for long sessions.
Audio and Video
A working microphone and speakers (built-in, USB, or Bluetooth)
A built-in or USB webcam compatible with web conferencing platforms like Zoom
Supported Operating Systems
macOS 10.15 or later
Windows 10 or later
Ubuntu Linux 18.04 or higher
Chromebooks with modern browser support are acceptable for most tasks
Web Browser
Latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari
Browser must support web-based programming environments like Google Colab or JupyterLite
Internet Explorer is not supported
Recommended Hardware

AI Considerations
Some course features may include browser-based access to AI-powered tools (e.g., code generation or explanation). No AI installation is required, but your browser and internet speed should support smooth real-time interaction with these tools.

To succeed in this course, students must demonstrate basic digital literacy and confidence using common software and internet tools. Specifically, students should be able to:
